Bibliomania has been online since 1998. It has a good Google footprint and over 150000 registered users.
The content of the site was keyed as HTML and these files are processed to produce individual pages and the full text index.
The meta data about the texts is housed in a postgresql database which is accessed via the Melati java middleware layer.
